Click here to order Samadhi means enlightenment, a state of total peace and harmony, of unity with the creator, which is achieved through deep meditation. Mystics have written poems about this exalted state of being. The heavenly sights and sounds experienced on the journey towards Samadhi can hardly be expressed in words. Fantasy artist Jurgen Ziewe has created a twenty minute animation, a continuous stream of magical visions of heavenly worlds as a visual poem. The inspiration for this DVD come from a series of out-of-body experiences, where the observation of the astral world in the next dimension left a deep impression on the artist. Most of the images of this website were inspired by visits via lucid dreams into a parallel universe. On one of these events Jurgen Ziewe entered a state of consciousness which is described by meditation and yoga practitioners as Samadhi. For years Jurgen contemplated how his experience could be best communicated. After eighteen month of work he assembled a twenty minute animation of a journey through inner space culminating in a crescendo of “Samadhi”. This was only made possible with the talents of composer Patrick Wilson, who made a name for himself writing music scores for hundreds of well-known TV and film productions. Patrick dedicated three months to writing the musical narrative, employing the angelic voice of Debbie Tyndall, a Tibetan throat singer as well some very rare and exotic musical instruments. In the fashion of a truly great composer the music to the film is scored in such a way, that the video can be listened to over and over again without feeling repetitious. This is an uplifting and inspiring peace of work and should not be missed by anyone who seeks spiritual nourishment. |
